Santa Fean Gets PGA Membership

Santa Fe golfer Scott R. Sadler was named to the Professional Golfer's
Association of America as a Class-A member. Sadler currently is the Teaching
Pro at Santa Fe Country Club.
To achieve this status, Sadler, a member of the Sun Country Section of the
PGA had to accumulate credits and experience under a Class-A Professional.
He also received credits for being a college graduate. In addition he had to
show golf ability by passing the Playing Ability Test, and had to pass two
intensive business schools focusing on all aspects of golf.
The last step was a presentation, interview, and question and answer session
in front of a panel of his peers. Sadler's highlighted presentation was on how
to develop a practice facility explained John Speary, a PGA Professional and
Executive Director of the Sun Country Section.
"It was an excellent presentation," Speary said. "It's the best I've ever seen.
I'm forwarding it to nationals. He far surpassed his requirements."
